If so, how did it turn out? Was it worth doing again as opposed to a "regular" setup? |

eNut
Monte is a great guy to work with and he will help you every step of the way if you have trouble.
I realize that is not the same as a Plek'd guitar but with an eNut and a good setup by a competent luthier you could approximate the results for a lot less money. |

For players that prefer medium to high action I am not sure that it would be a worthwhile procedure but for those looking for the lowest action possible, it seems to work really well.
Also very expensive.....
I mentioned the eNut because it does an excellent job of helping with intonation. That along with a good setup will get you 90% of the way to a good Plek'd guitar for a lot less money.
YMMV |

Here\'s a thread from the Melancon Guitars forum with members discussing it. |

My Strat has a high 5th and 7th fret that tends cause a buzz if I play to hard fretted at 4 and 6. Since im going to need a fret level job anyway, I figured that I might just get a Plek job instead. The closest place with a Plek machine charges about $220. |
