Location: New Hampsha | I went to an Orleans concert last Thursday and a Poco concert last night, and both groups made heavy use of Babicz guitars.
I must say I thought they sounded very Adamas-like, clearer and crisper than a typical wood box. The Babicz on Thursday certainly blew away the Martin it was "duetting" on Thursday.
Poco used two at once. Almost as good as when Rusty Young would use his "O". ;) |

Location: Tennessee | I think the handmade custom shops ones are good. The asian factory ones are not. There's a big difference, both in terms of sound and quality, between the two. A lot more so than the difference in Ovation products. I'm willing to bet the ones Orleans and Poco were playing were the handmade ones by Babicz himself and not the licensed versions being cranked out in Asia and sold over the internet. |

Location: Nashville, TN | I sold my top of the Line Identity that I got from the Jeffs for $500..bought a blue Viper with the dough:-)...they sound really sweet & lots of sustain, but not very loud...my engineer guy always whined he wasn't getting the acoustic 'balls' he wanted out of it..so I sold it... |
