Location: Brisbane Australia | I didn't think it would but it will, just.
But you need to put some padding under the body to lower the headstock.

Location: Colorado Rocky Mountains | Note that the tip of the headstock comes in contact with the inside of the case beyond just the padding. This suggests that the Viper's longer scale makes it slightly oversized for the LP case. It probably could be forced into the case, but I wouldn't do it. |

Location: Brisbane Australia | It's a neat fit but would do the job.
It fits the body quite well.
Because the LP is thicker the case is deeper.
Put about an inch or so of padding under the rear of the body and the headstock sits down in the case just fine, albeit neat.
Lowering the neck support would also help.
I have a spare LP case and a Viper in a gig bag so that's what I am going to do.
Bitz, genuine Viper cases are not that hard to get over there.
