Location: Colorado Rocky Mountains | One of the advantages of having a few guitars is that you can select one off the wall that you haven’t played for awhile, clean it up, then spend some time reacquainting yourself with it. Last night, I spent over two hours with the Ukii plugged into a modded Blues Junior LE. It is easy to forget what a truly superb sounding guitar this is, particularly, to my ears, in single coil mode. The body felt a bit strange with my forearm resting against its relatively abrupt upper body edge compared to the more contoured shapes I’m familiar with. Nonetheless, the sound was gorgeous. Its sad that this model never caught on big time in the market. I don’t know much about its pickups, but they sound every bit as sensitive and sharp as the Texas Specials on the Strat, and the sustain is great. Somebody had his suff together when he designed this guitar. |

Location: los angeles | +1 on the UKII (obviously from my screen name). It is the only electric that I have kept after having SGs, Les Pauls, Strats, etc. IT IS THAT GOOD! |

Location: Sunshine State, Australia | I love to be able to play an electric guitar (properly). I've had AJ's UKII here since last August (thanks Jim) and I think I've used it maybe 4 - 5 times. There's just too many knobs and switches.
Probably why I prefer to play acoustics. K.I.S.S. |
