5 people dead so far in michigan from it.the last one , a madison heights policeman was a close friend of a friend that i work with.
not trying to bash the blog but this is a very serious thing going on and sometimes it hits closer to home than we would think.the fellow who passed away from it was a very good natured and practical joker so i am sure that he would share a good pun about it .he was 28 years young and a father that loved to have fun and pull pranks.thanks for the say so on it.god bless him & his family.GWB

Without denying the personal tragedy of losing someone we know for ANY reason, there are more dangerous things in the world than Swine Flu...that kill waaay more people.

My maternal aunt is currently dying from pancreatic cancer, that's a personal family tragedy. Not a WORLD WIDE CRISIS. The news biz.....'scuse me,...the info-tainment business sickens me with it's sensationalizing of the mundane and trivialization of the truly tragic.

But that's another story. Not for here, tune up and play on. For tomorrow we may die.

Fer crying out loud, the 'normal' flu kills hundreds each year. This whole thing has been blown out of all proportion. And when a real, proper 'dangerous' virus threatens, everyone will ignore the warnings.

THAT is the danger.

Cry wolf.

Actually the regular flu kills 36 Thousand Americans in an average year. Not counting senior citizens.
It's the Deceptive Media...
They won't tell you that the world economy is going down the tubes until it is too late.
[I could and did warn people of the real estate/mortgage mess in 2005]
They won't tell you when your government is lying. [In fact they spread the stories]
They won't tell you that the USA has more people in prison than any other country. [more than 1% of the 305,000,000]
And they won't tell you that worldwide more children die of starvation in an hour than this flu has killed in the last few months.
But it is international news if one more person dies of the H1N1 virus.

OH! And don't eat raw cookie dough! [Well duh! You are supposed to Cook It!]

I also read somewhere that every single person in the world should be concerned about the swine flu.

Lucky I'm married.
