As promised folks, here's the companion to the 12 string thread...I almost didn't get this in time...I had help from the whole Mishka family including SWMBO who set up stands and carried camera and cases, both of the kids who were having a blast to be outside again: three times in one day; and Toby the cat for staying away...
It was nearly 8pm and the sun was setting so I hurriedly got set up and snapped as many as I had light for...
here is the Album on the ning site:
Mikey\'s Six String Roundup

And a couple of teasers:

(Left to Right):
1776 Bicentennial 1976
1982 C-8 Collectors
1868-6p Elite SSB 1990
1687-8 #189 Adamas 1 1978
1687-7 Adamas 1 1981
1187-247#87 Adamas 1 Slothead RI 2005 30th Anniv.

Enjoy Everyone and Have a Great Week...

BTW, Since the Book Elite hasn't shipped to AJ yet, I was momentarily tempted to include it with it's cousins...but it's yours Mate and I'll let you do a similar pic/roundup from Down Under...OK? ;)

Mikey, you have no need for the 78 Adamas. I shoulda held onto it for a test drive. For a few years......

Beautiful!

BTW - you should store AJ's guitar upside down so it can get acclimated!

I don't think AJ has the space to put all his 6 stringers out together at once. Snork, snork!

Man, oh man ... to be a kid with a Red Ryder BB rifle, belly crawling up behind a tree, with all those targets setting up there so nice and pretty. I wonder how many I can put right into the center holes, and even better, into the ones with the little holes. Ah, I'd probably shoot my eye out.

Nice pic, Mike. Looks like you've been getting some rain. Who hasn't?

I'm guessing a John Deere riding lawnmower, circa 1997, 38" deck...

Lawn is 60% Bermuda and 30% Bluegrass.

Beats the heck out of Flamingo's or Dwarves!

Close Mike...

Actually I have a great Zero Turn ExMark Quest

Quest Premium Homeowner Zero Turn
24 HP Briggs & Stratton (ELS) Twin-Cylinder OHV Engine
With 52" Cutting Deck

Great Mower: I can cut the 1/2 Acre yard in under an hour...

I also use a Stihl Trimmer and Blower to finish the job...

I used to hate dutting grass when I was a boy...but now, I look forward to it...
Something about ownership I think...

Mike,

Nice mower.

Isn't it just like the OFC to turn a topic about beautiful guitars into a disscussion on lawn care. :D

Tell me about it. Spend hours lining up a couple of Porsches and a bunch of Ovations and the Old Farts Club notices the long grass.

I've watched the lawnmower races on cable. MM, that looks like it could be a fun little racer. MIB, done right, the front chin spoiler on the Cayman could probably cut the long grass quite nicely. And you could work on the zero turn radius with just the right amount of throttle and wet grass.

Manwise:
It is the ultimate compliment to deflect the conversation into something mundane. Switching to "Man Code" talk means "If I keep talking about what you want I'm going to need a box of Kleanex"

So... nice Cup Holder and I like that swing-away throttle-stick!
