Plucking the string at anything less than a 90 degree angle results in a very noticable difference in the end result. I'd say that just that one little habit can cost you 20% in tone. Try it yourself. Right now. 45 degrees then 90. Go ahead. I'll wait. I no longer feel qualified to talk about the finer points of tone and benefits of AAA grade tops over those plain old AA tops. | ||

The more you play, the better you get at it. Just play 'em and enjoy 'em and don't worry about the other stuff. | ||
