Location: Hot Springs, S.D. | That's what a guy brought in on consignment yesterday. USA made, beautiful sunburst, even the case is gorgeous. And when my wiz-kid Jarrett played it, I knew he had to have it. Now he didn't have an extra thousand dollars laying around to buy it with, but a good friend and I decided to split the cost. We just gave it to him. We all cried. This 14 year old kid deserves this guitar. He plays better than anyone I ever met, and he's not a spoiled brat who thinks people should just give him stuff. He is the most level headed, thoughtful, kind, wonderful human being there is. FINALLY, he has a guitar that is worthy of him. I'm just so happy about this I had to share it with all of you. Any of you who come out for the gathering next summer will get to meet him and hear him play. THAT alone is worth the trip! Thanks for listening. |

Location: Hot Springs, S.D. | I will get someone in here with a camera as soon as I can. And I want to post some of his music! I swear, this kid is just the best guitarist I have ever known. I'll try to get some of he and I playing together and some of his band. Then I will post some on youtube and maybe get him set up with a Myspace (yuk!) and a Facebook (yuk again!) so that he will be "discovered". He is already getting attention in Japan - a friend of mine is friends with the editor of the Japanese version of Rolling Stone magazine. She shot a video of him and sent it. They were very impressed and asked for more. :cool: |
