One of my Adamas' has mysteriously disappeared. I believe it may have been stolen. It is an Adamas II (1881-BG) sn-10656. It is missing from the Lafayette, In area, but I believe it may be in Nashville,TN area. If you run across it please let me know. Thanx bunches.

I'm actually after one of those so looking out for one already, if I see one I'll let you know. Do you happen to know what the serial number was?

What kind of moron would sell a guitar and then not remember it, come on this board and claim it was stolen, and.... wait

Never mind

This is one of those times where the Adamas guitar's current lack of mass popularity may actually pay off. It will definitely stand out if/when someone tries to sell it, and knowing the serial number will also nail it for someone. What color is it and what features?

How did I lose it? Not easy. Was in a band that broke up (singer moved to Nashville). Thought guitar was at guitar players house. Had hard time getting my stuff back (not really worried about it, just finding time). Finally found time. Guitar player said he thought that I took it home. Not at home. I was sure it was at his house. So it has disappeared. Not happy at all about this. Still hoping that it will show up, just not confident. Will let everyone know if it does. Thanx again to everyone.

Mike I understand your passion, but it was actually Remington Arms Co. who first came up with the 44 Magnum cartridge; while S&W invented the most famous 44 Mag pistol, the mod. 29, it was Sturm Ruger who first came up with a firearm for the Remington cartridge with the famous Super Blackhawk in 1956...beating S&W by several years...
These are awesome pistols; I've had three...

A couple of months ago I was in Bass Pro Shop and was looking at a 50 cal revolver. Talk about a cannon.

I've seen this before, I'm betting one of the guitar player's pals "borrowed" it in the confusion of the band split.
