But actually.....IT'S TODAY! :D
So far today I have officiated at the fire departments annual Car Show, eaten several hot dogs (mmmmmm), cut the grass, and the family has something planned for tonight...the kitchen/dining room is decorated but I'm not supposed to notice yet...lol
The best so far was waking up to the entire family singing Happy Birthday to me...very cool...
I think the "present" TJ is refering to is that I am getting a Mandolin: it's a C.F. Martin 2-15; flamed carved maple back and flamed maple sides; F hole carved spruce top w/ a great 'burst...AND it was made in 1948: same year as my D-28...too cool...one of 250...I'll post pic's when its here...very cool...
I appreciate the good wishes and hope that you all have a great week...We're spending time w/Capo Guy and his bride and taking the kids to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge to the Aquarrium and Dollywood...please keep me in your thoughts...lol
