Location: Colorado Rocky Mountains | I've read that Bell labs pretty much wrote the book on tube amp technology and served as the guiding light for Leo Fender's early amp development, but I've never seen an actual Bell amp. Seller says it is from the 1940s. Kind of cool! And this one is for sale, too.

Location: NW Washington State | I think that the Fender/Bell connection was amplifier designs from Bell Labs via Western Electric. This is a Bell Sound amp and I don't know if it's a related company.
Based on the description, the guy has done a pretty complete restoration. If I were buying it, I'd want make sure that the filter capacitors have been replaced.

Location: Atlanta, GA. | I gotta agree with numbfingers. Anything from a Bell Labs design would have been manufactured by Western Electric and labeled as such. |

Location: Boise, Idaho | Bell Sound Systems from Columbus, Ohio, made radios in the 40s. No connection to Bell Labs that I could find. |

Location: Indiana | The newer digital toasters burn. Tube toasters give you that warm & fuzzy analog toast. |

Location: Colorado Rocky Mountains | When I blew up the Two-Tone discussed in the other thread, some of my staff members would have swore that I was burning toast with it. The odor and smoke is remarkably similar. |
