I had trouble with my phone line and internet. After the phone tech came and got my line working again, the internet tech came to see if my internet was working fine.

I was watching a crummy video of the "Glen Campbell Goodtime Hour" with Three Dog Night as his guest. I told the tech I was watching this video to see Glen playing a Storm series Ovation (I think that is what he was playing).

The internet tech said "I love Three Dog Night, and I have an Ovation". He told me that he has a UK II, and I gave him our website address if he has any questions.

He asked if he could play the 02 Collectors. I said "Sure!". He played a Guns and Roses tune, along with some blues stuff. He even played my Walden, and we tried to jam, but it didn't work out so well. I even showed him a picture of Ovation amps.

He thanked me for letting him play my guitars. I never though that a service call would turn into so much fun!

BTW, if it has piqued your interest, here is the crummy video I was looking at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=neLP7PRlfsY

And most of us don't end up owning Ovations, Ovations end up owning us! :D

There is one lady I know IRL that has an Ovation. She even drove it to CT to get it fixed. But she now has gone over to the dark side and plays a Taylor in the duo she in.

I'm still trying to get her to come back into the light and play her Ovation. :D
