Thanks everyone for the birthday wishes!

Yes, Patch, you used the right amount of candles. If you had used the real amount, you would have set my computer monitor on fire! :D

Tonight I'm going with two friends to see James Taylor at Tanglewood. We have lawn tickets, so I hope it doesn't rain!

It's going to be a long day -- leave here about 4:15 p.m. and probably leave Tanglewood between 10 and 11:00 p.m. and getting back here around 12:00 a.m. Then rise and shine and be to work by 8:00 am! Those hours for a 25 year old, not for a 45 year old!

I also will be taking my mother out to lunch. It is, after all, her "birth" day too.

Enjoy your birthday and the concert, Michelle. He puts on a great show if you're a Taylor fan.

(Oh, yeah, and lunch with Mom!)

Thanks for posting this Anita. I meant to do it last night before I left but I kinda got caught up in a feeding frenzy (see the for sale section.) Michelle and I discovered that we shared the month of August a while ago. So, dear Michelle, I say happy birthday to you, and I hope it's the best one ever!

Thanks again, everyone! I had one of the best birthdays ever. Enjoyed shopping and lunch with Mom and being with friends.

The concert was fabulous. James sang a few songs, but the focus of the night was his band members. Each one of them got a chance to shine by themselves. Could not believe the talent that was there, and I could not believe how good JT still sounds!

Unfortunately for my friends, they didn't enjoy it. They were very disappointed that JT didn't sing any of his hits, and they wished that there was more JT and less of the band.

I didn't get home until 12:30 a.m. The stupid GPS had us (wrongly) going down some dirt road, and therefore it took us much longer to get home.

BTW, Iffy -- loved the photo!
