And if you choose your acoustic/electric do you typically plug it in or not?

Mostly I just play acoustic, unless I wanna play with one of the solid bodies. I have a regular-old MicroCube in a backpack that I take outside for supporting volume to drown-out street noise.

More often than not its an A/E (just because the Ovation 2007 Collectors is my go to guitar and the only left out of it's case, hanging up ready to grab at a moments notice). No need to plug it in, it's LOUD!
