Even without training, she's one of those vocalists who can stop whatever's happening in its tracks. Nice lady too BTW. The other members of Patchwork (Jerry, Mark, and Jenny) all had great strengths that added to the overall sound. They were a great, fun ensemble. Easily one of the things I miss most about living in Savannah.

Not knowing the song, it sounds like a fine old sea shanty! So, have you fired up another "Patchwork" in Poughkeepsie yet?

It's your standard starving college student project (read low-budget), but the cassettes I sold at church covered the production and I had plenty of Christmas gifts to give that year. :) The album cover is one that I made with MS Publisher to replace the original that had a terribly dated photograph of me on it. (Suffice to say that I should probably write a song called "I Used To Have A Hairline" .) Sadly, my gigging days are mostly behind me now, other than leading music at church and the occasional coffee house setting. I work full-time, hold down two part-time jobs, and consult online as a subject matter expert and contributing writer. I'm lucky that I find time to pick up the guitar at all anymore! :p I'm still in touch with everyone from Patchwork though. Some of them have gotten a kick out of this thread in particular. :) I'll see if I can't put the rest of the Desperate Faith album up there for you to look at. All but two of the songs are originals, including a Christmas song that I think has become even more relevant with time.
