I'm still picking your brains, guys! I'm very interested in selling my current nylon string guitar and buying an Ovation. I noticed on another thread that someone said the deeper bowl models are much better for acoustic tone. That would place the 2073LX well above the 1773LX. Is the 2073 a superior guitar to the 1773 in your opinion?

I'd like to try that 2073LX with the contour.

Anyone here have one?

If someone sends one to me, I'll test it out and give an opinion. :-)

I love my 1773LX, but a deep bowl means a deeper sound...

Yes, and comfort is an issue, too. I recently bought a used W597 Adamas and I really like the feel of the mid-bowl. The acoustic sound is still pretty good with that, too.
