Hello, I'm trying to help a friend get a ballpark value of his Ovation. Model number is 1121 which makes it a discontinued Artist Balladeer model. It is in excellent condition, very clean with only a couple of minor dings. Sunburst finish. Thanks in advance for any replys that I may get from you folks at this forum.

Frank.

Welcome. The FAQ has explicit instructions on how to post pictures here (scroll down, it's in the last group of questions). It also gives guidance to your original question. A quick eBay completed auctions search shows 4 recent 1621's (same as your friend's guitar, but with a pre-amp). Average asking price was $250, only one sold, and that one at $150.

I originally sold my 1121 for $365 (including case and shipping)...
But it got broken in transit!
After I got it back and glued the headstock back on,
It sold for $145 (with case, not including shipping).
Those are Great, greatly under-rated Guitars.

[Just remembering... That was a really, really nice guitar.
I regret it's loss due to clumsy handling!]
