Location: Indiana | Can anyone explain how my 1613-4 ended up with a 5 digit serial number?
I bought this new in '78 and never noticed this oddity.

Location: Indiana | That label was there when I bought it. That and the original foil label.
I had a new top/bowl put on in 95. MS transferred it to the new bowl. They didn't question it at the time. Even listed that as the SN on the top replacement invoice.
Nothing about the guitar was unusual originally. Standard 1613. I am the original registered owner. |
