Welcome to the International House of Ovations!

HERE is a French review that may interest you.

I haven't played one, so I can't help you in it's worth.

I'm sure that someone else will be able to give you more information a little later.

Are you sure it's a 1512? The 1512 model was made in the USA & would probably be worth a little more than one made in the Pac Rim. I have a 1512 & although I had to have quite a bit of work done on it, it is a wonderful guitar. Mine is the reverse blue sunburst & the top is quite nice - practically in new condition. I would think the price you mentioned might be a bit high - you could pick up a good used Balladeer for that. If the model is actually a 1517, it's a Pac Rim model & if used, would I believe to be high (unless it's new or like new).

Hello Johan. Hard to tell from the picture, but the general setup on the guitar would appear to be the same as mine. If the label inside says Ultra 1512, SN 322679, then it should also say made in USA. Mine does. If it is a Pac Rim model it will say made in Korea/China whatever.

USA made. Laminated top. Looks also have the Urelite neck. I have a 1311 like that one ... same color. Beautiful. Funky way that the top is bound but it works. Watch out for neck bow since those don't have truss rods.
