Very interesting indeed. A 12 string longneck with custom inlay work and murdered-out eppies

If I had the scratch to through at it, I just might.

Actually I don't think it's a longneck. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think that's a longneck case

The only true O longnecks I've seen are StephenT28's. His cases are dramatically larger looking traditional shape with tolex-style covering. They are not at all the molded plastic Ovation factory case as shown in that auction link.

Wow! A study in contrasts...SOUNDS, per the description, like a spectacular guitar, but the pictures do everything BUT bear that out.

Hard to imagine he could screw up the fact that it's a long neck baritone. It either is or it isn't. If it is, that is a hell of a guitar.

Don't know about the case, but it's definitely a longneck. Fret spacing and the location of the bridge.

With the Ovation peghead they just barely fit. Interesting looking guitar.

AlanM, you need that one to play your terriers on!

My adamas 2080D longneck has a slotted headstock which makes it about 2 inches longer than a paddle headstock.

This makes it too long for any regular case so I had to modify an acoustic bass case for a proper fit.

Maybe woody can remember (he spent half a day playing it) - was Stonge's custom Adamas SSB 12 string a long neck?

Awesome guitar.
Surprised nobody has ever ordered one. It would be right up Prof BB's street. The ultimate performance 12 string Adamas.

And easily converted to a 9 or 7 string......

Have given this some thought (the custom order Adamas 12). I have an 1866 Legend SSB 12 and a custom ordered EA58 Viper 12 which meet my needs most of the time, but I've often thought an Adamas 1885 would be the cat's meow. Woody had one on his sale rack a while back. However, I've never considered a long-neck option on an SSB 12.

Yeah, I thought so. Got mine out today and warmed it up. Gonna use it this week on the OMs.
Cheers.

The Opry sits at the very top of the bandroom blingometer.
