Item number: 130373179250

Not a DCS247S nor a DS778.

What is a Model 05768-CCB?

Thanks in advance to the Ovation Sages.

The good doctor mis-read "DS" as "05". The label may be handwritten which could compund the issue.

P.S. I had one just like that. Nice guitar.

Hmm ... You could be right, but if so, he also got "778" confused with "768". A few too many brewskis?

Well, I don't know how the model codes translate into features, but it's got a deep bowl, Schallers, 5pc neck...it all adds up to a US-made Ovation. Who cares if the seller's a little confused. I got a '76 Folklore for $100 because the seller didn't know what he had. I DID, and that's what mattered : )

The DS768 is the one with the deep bowl. Later on, they started making them with the mid bowls ... which was the DS778. The deep bowl version is the one you want, especially if you want to go down real low.

Absolutely...no comparison.

You want the DS768 USA made deep bowl.
