Location: Jet City | I like these chrome bat switches. If I remember right (it's been 25 years), weren't they used as pickup selector switches too? I seem to remember one on my old Preacher.
These will be going on a non-O. I need one 2-way for a phase switch and another 3-way for a pickup selector switch.
Any links are appreciated, or if you have a couple laying around that would work too. Need chrome, not gold.
Thanks.

Location: The Great Pacific Northwest | I believe I and possibly customer support at Ovation, may be the only source of the few that are left. About 4 years ago I went on a hunt, and it turns out these switches were "sourced." They got a gazillion of them made, and that was it. I have yet to see anything close ever. I'd love to be wrong as it kills to pay or charge what needs to be to replace a rather simple switch, just because they are not made anymore. |

Location: Jet City | Hmm. Maybe they're a bad choice to use then. I'll leave them for the folks that need them for their Os.
I was gonna use them for that T-60 I told you I was customizing. |

Location: enid, ok | My apologies, but I have to ask. If you like that plank so much, why are you customizing it? |

This is a different one that was promoted as being original but is not. The switches are incorrect and ugly, and the pickguard needs to be replaced as they bored out a hole to fit one of the incorrect switches.
Instead of making a big stink about the false portrayal, I'm just going to have some fun and customize it a bit.
It's black, so I was thinking of a black pearl pickguard. Chip Todd offered to make a matching truss cover if I get him some of the spare material, so I'm going to take him up on it.
I'll probably just go with the stock flat bat switches again. |
