Check out his first electric - a Harmony acoustic with the back removed and 5 pickups stuck on the underside of the top. He says he recorded his first album with this and then "when he could afford it" bought a Strat. I'd love to see a documentary on this man. I heard an interview with him and he harbored no resentment at all about Clapton's success with his songs. Was happry for Eric and happy for the royalty checks and wasn't worried about the fame. A So Cal acquaintance claimed that as of a few years ago he was out gigging in bars about every night. Any catch one of those? | ||
