I never learned any of those songs. Guess they had one chord too many.

The best comedy takes a simple truth and waves it in your face.
That was good.

Now... what chords did they use?

This was at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival last year. I remember watching it on TV and I couldn't help grabbing my guitar and trying it for myself.

I reckon I must have learned guitar at the same place they studied music.

Hi, everyone!
I played Pachabel's Canon on Kazoo! one time with my music teacher. No, it was not part of my music history class, and yes, we were bored that day, but had a riot doing it! I told you had stories to tell, right? and btw... "The Shortest Song in the World" has only 3 chords. Just sing,,,,"This is the shortest song in the world!", in the key of your choice, and you're done! (Steve Martin did it on Heehaw! one time, and yes, my sisters and I copied it shamelessly, and even did it on the local banquet circuit when we were in high schhool. But your gotta hit those chords in just the right spot, or else! You'll figure it out. You people on this site know a lot of stuff.
God Bless You.

I saw that Opryland was flooded out. It's bad there. Let's hope the Ernest Tubbs Record Store across the street is OK. I also hope Dan Shafer and Jonmark and all the other folks down there stay high and dry.

Oh great... an excuse for writing more of my least favorite music styles... country and western...

I do hope everyone is safe.
