Location: Florida Central Gulf Coast		Were the purple lined cases model or era specific? Or just what the MS had on hand?

Al's ad got me wondering...

Couldn't find any specific info in the archives.

Location: Nova Scotia, Canada		They were era specific. These were the earliest of the moulded cases. I believe they first offered these in '71-72.

Location: Keepin' It Weird in Portland, OR		I had a purple-lined brown case that fit my 'Artist Depth' 1121...
But it would not fit the 1621 that was two years newer.
So I was under the impression that the Purple-lined ones were for the Artist depth only.
(But I have been wrong before)
