Location: NJ | miles and I ran into him at namm one year. He was really nice. He was very nice to his fans and I saw him talk to every man woman and child in line. I was not a huge fan of his stuff but he seemed like a genuinely nice person. |

Location: Keepin' It Weird in Portland, OR | He was a cool little dude. I never met him, but people that I know who have said that he was just a nice fella. Not stuck-up like some folks. And he was rockin' til the end. He had a tour scheduled this summer if he hadn't died. I should be so energetic when I am 67!

Location: The Great Pacific Northwest | Ditto what Alpep stated above. When I first saw the way he was chatting with people I initially thought they were mostly his friends, until a few moments later when I got to chat with him and realized, that's just how he was. He treated every fan, every person, like they were part of his family, even engaging young ones (like really little kids in tow by their moms) in just general "how's school" "are you having fun here today" "what's your favorite music" "what have you done since you've been here"
He will be missed by so so many.. |

Plus he invented metal hands. RIP. |
