Looks like an interesting solution for the home recordist on a budget. For most of the kinds of things I do, it would cover the bases for the the same or lower cost than what I've got sunk into my USB interface and pre amps.

GOOD Mic. Technique is All Important .. we`re so Lucky to draw on the Expertise of the Big Boys on this board .. the likes of Mr. O .. Steph.T .. Alpep .. come to mind ..

I just got an R-16 from zoom. Its easy to use and can do 8 tracks xlr at once. Check it out.
