Location: Suisun City, Ca | Well, since i took 3rd place (out of 60 entries) at my local Poker Tourney Saturday night, I bought this Crate with my winnings.
It seems like in a short (about two months) period of time, I got it pretty bad... New CE, Pagannini's 778LX and now this amp... hmmmmm, I blame you Bob! ;) |

Location: Boise, Idaho | I have one of the predecessors, a CA125. It more than meets my needs, although it's got a bit of hiss on the tweeter. Now they should be able to hear you. |

Location: New Hampshire, USA | AstroDan - I bought that exact amp back in January and I really like the tone of it. The built-in effects are cool, but I mostly use just a bit of reverb.
I got mine used on Craigslist for $100, and the guy threw in a Stagg strat copy for free that he just wanted to get rid of. :)
I picked up a foot switch for it on ebay for $20, too.
Enjoy! |

You know, those Addamas 12-strings aren't that much, are they? |

You were right, FlySig! My CE and LX really shine and this thing is plenty loud!
A little reverb and it's on. I've tuned the LX to Dsus4 and add Chorus/doubled and Rain Song is beautiful.
Well...Gotta play now. :) |

Location: Connersville, Indiana | REF: Crate; I have used my Crate GFX-212 with onboard effects for 10 years now. All my Elite, my Classical, my 12 string Ovations sound wonderful with it. Then I use my UK ll and it just rocks. I know this is not the same but I love Crate amps. I also use a line 6 Pod Plus, for effects and tone on the clean side. |
