Dale Lutes is not able to attend the First Annual Rocky Racoon Memorial Gathering next week, but he and his other half were in the area today so they stopped in. VERY nice people! And I think Dale enjoyed playing my Adamas. I hope this pic I tried to post comes through, but if not, check my ning page. He will be posting a couple more next time he's near a computer.

We better be careful about letting Alison post pictures of next weekend's gathering or we'll run out of space. Just 5 days to go.

Wait a minute, I posted it on my ning site. My dear friend BT was kind enough to post it over here in near-life-size so that those who can't attend the gathering next week would get a better idea of what it is they'll be missing. ;)

I just have time for a quick post to say how much I enjoyed visiting with Alison. I'll post my photos when I get back to Wichita this coming weekend. Sorry I won't be able to join all of you for the official gathering. I guarantee you'll have a good time.

I'm back in Wichita and life is returning to "normal". What a great vacation. My only regret is that our schedule didn't jive with the 1st annual Black Hills gathering. I envy all of you who were there.

My own visit to the Canterbury String shop was great. Alison, thanks again for your hospitality. Deb and I did make that canyon drive before heading on to Sturgis and it was very pretty.

I promised to post a couple of photos and here they are. You'll find the full-size ones on my ning page.

First up, Alison and me. If I had planned ahead, I'd have brought my Pacemaker with me. Alison was kind enough to slip her Adamas into my hands.

I couldn't leave without taking a Canterbury String T-shirt with me. Here I am the following day, wearing it proudly at Devil's Tower.
