I like 'em.
Good ones anyway. Ones that put a little or even major twist on the arrangement.

I just got a CD of a guy doing covers of some 70's songs. The liner notes states that he hopes it will be like you are hearing the song for the first time. It's given me a couple ideas to take a swing at.

Now Matt Smith... he knows how to turn a song on it's ear and make it sound like something brand new.

I don't have SirusXM radio but Brain tells me there is an acoustic cafe channel where the original artists will do their songs unplugged.
He heard The Stones (or maybe just Mick and Keith) do Wild Horses.

I want whole albums of stuff like this.

Looks like NPR has been very good for Mr. Cohn.

I also downloaded a single tune from another CD of his.
I thought I was the only one who remembered and plays Harry Nilson's, "Turn on your Radio".

Fan here too. Personally, the guy is marriued to Elizabeth Vargas and incredibly survived a carjacking where he was literally shot in the head. Lucky as well as talented.

Another CD comin down the pike wouldn't surprise me. It has been over a year I think.

A cover CD would be cool for everyone but Dave who would have to jack with all the licensing and royalty crap. That's why the last one was originals only.
