Location: Colorado Rocky Mountains | Time for a different guitar for the office, so I brought in the Hurricane. This is one of those under-the-bed models that has seen very little action in its 42+ years. The finish is perfect, no finish cracks whatsoever, and very few marks of any kind anywhere. The back and sides are flame maple. I picked this one up personally from a member north of Boston just before attending the last (final?) factory tour.

I think we can get her to settle for
1/2 the house and the 401 account. But first! A little
Rock You Like A Hurricane!" |

Location: Bluffton, SC | That IS a great looking guitar. I had an old Epi hollow body a looong time ago and would LOVE to have that one back.
MAN! The ones we let go, eh? You all know what I'm talkin' 'bout... |

Location: Flahdaw | I only own one electric...a G&L Tele, but I wish I'd held out and bought a hollow body. That is plumb gorgeous. |

Location: Bluffton, SC | Hollow bodies are great. Never knew what I had until a year or two afterwards when I walked into a bar and heard some guy playing some incredible blues on the same exact guitar. I almost cried on the spot. Great for jazz, crunchy rock...just a guitar that I think every real guitar player should have in their arsenal.
Which explains why I no longer have one. But a Tele is another. |

| The flame on the back of that thing looks as good as my son's PRS. |
