I tried some polish beer and well it is not good at all.
I am rather partial to their apricot schnapps and there is this stuff called "spiritus" which is basically pure grain alcohol and that is not for the meek.
if you get to philly I can turn you on to some good Kielbasa It's a deal al. The "spiritus" thing is like schnapps, vodka and tequila. Pure alcohol. No pretence at taste/vintage/class. Just get smashed.
Not that I'm being judgemental here. I just love beer. |

Location: Boise, Idaho | I suspect that the Polish sausage I like isn't too realistic. I prefer brats also and most of my relatives in Wisconsin seemed to have brats and beer before, during and after the Packer games, but they were mostly from my mother's German side. I always thought my dad's side of the family had some pretty creepy stuff.
I'm pretty open to any beer that isn't bitter. The heavy hoppy stuff that some people prefer isn't for me.
But this is Al's birthday, not mine. Drink and eat whatever you like, Al and sleep in tomorrow. |
