So which is which...

When I got this it hadn't been played for awhile.
The strings were filthy and the thing has opened-up just by me playing it a bit.
It came in a really ugly box, but looks can be deceiving cuz it was well-packed.

When I opened up the back (cuz I was removing shims) if felt really dry in there.
I don't know where this poor guitar was living, but I sure it will appreciate being humidified.

It has a Solid Top and sorta Quintad Bracing. It also has an OP30 preamp.

I just wanted to brag and remind people that there are some Nice Celebrity's out there to be grabbed by those of us who are less affluent. ($212 Shipped)

And it has Abalone fret markers, which my Elites don't have!
I just have to get reacquainted with raised epaulets.

I don't know what you're talking about; you have more guitars, amps and other musical paraphernalia than I do...

Aw Shucks, Fellas You're makin' me blush.

I bought all that stuff when I was more affluent.
Now that I am less affluent, some of it is being sold to pay rent.
And some of it is being played on the street corner to do the same.

But now my cheeks are flushed.

But this is a nice guitar for cheap. :D

I know I love my Celeb Classical guitar. I gives me the sound I'm looking for, and at a price I could afford at the time of purchase.

There teasing you about all your gear and guitars, I bet you even have a couple Ovation Amps.

Remembering that this is THE OVATION FAN CLUB you should probably be thrown out for that wanton act of vandalsim.

How do you afford all those guitars AND drugs?

Sincerely

A member of the ever effluent.

Jokes about painting guitars should be confined to the "Should Not Paint Your Own Guitar" thread.
I might add that the 2078T-? is still a Great sounding guitar!
And will continue to be a unique guitar to the people who see me on the street.
(after I am sure that the current layer has cured... I have More Paint!)

To continue, I have humidified the CSE44 and played with it and it is a GREAT sounding guitar.
It gets better every time I play it.
The solid wood top is about 4mm thick, which seems pretty thick to me. (I ain't a Luthier)
But it do sound great.
I cleaned-off some white stuff by the epaulets, so I believe the previous owner used some buffing compound or scratch-remover on the top...
But he did a really good job! I can only find one or two pick tracks.
This is going down as one of the best deals that I have gotten.
(And it came with a Nice Case too!)

Yeah, I know that it's a Celebrity! :p
[The CSE24 that came-and-went was also a Nice sounding guitar.
It held it's own in a side-by-side with the 1771LX.]
