Plus the omnipresent Mr. Markure TAKAMINE GUITAR CLINIC Says Mike: For all you Washington State Takamine enthusiasts..... I am bringing the pain your way. Brad Davis and John Jorgenson will show you how they get it done with their Takamine guitars at the the following locations. November 17th Ted Brown Music 1150 s. 24th Avenue Yakima Wa. November 18th Ted Brown Music 6228 Tacoma Mall Blvd. Tacoma Wa.

I'll try to get my daughter to go to the Tak clinic if she can make it on a Thursday night, so I hope the Tak people are as nice (or nicer) than the OFC.

CL, shoot me an email, if you're coming. There's a Red Robin across the parking lot from the store. Great burgers!

We had about 30 people show up (not bad for this mudpuddle), and an awful lot of reflected light off an awful lot of heads, if you catch my drift. Brad suggested tying a dishrag around the neck of your guitar, to practice your right hand until you find a "homebase". Probably pretty rudimentary for many of The Faithful here but, being a natural lefty, not a bad suggestion for me. Apparently, he gave this instruction to a 72-year-old, retired doctor, and his 70 year-old lawyer buddy, who insisted they be given a lesson. Guess they got one, too! A whole month of repetition, at 60-beats-a-minute. So, great outing, all-in-all. Didn't play the guitars. I was dead-tired, and hungry, so I just went home. I will log into Brad's you-tube lessons, just to keep my memory refreshed. Good practice for my almost-complete, cedar-top, deep-bowl, wood-binding, custom-inlaid-rosette, 1122-neck, wide-saddle critter. OK, MWoody, what's a clever abbreviation for THAT?

Knowing where you get your parts you can call it the C2C (Sea to Sea). Sounds like a good time in Yakeemaw! Did Crimson ever make it...

My flight into Seattle on monday morning was canceled, so I missed out on meeting Damon. I now know what the Snoqualmie pass is and the little voice inside of me said "don't go there" last night as it looked somewhat snowy. Chris is correct, I will be back. Our largest customer is based out of Seattle. I did however get to meet my new niece in Walnut Creek on the way home... I'm sitting in SFO right now. Long week...
