For no particular reason... I started thinking about and am intrigued by and have been practicing playing with a pick between thumb and forefinger while also, using the remaining three fingers *including the pinky*... (not that I have any more fingers to use... I live in Virginia... not WEST Virginia)
I have little trouble playing with a pick and two fingers... but, adding the pinky is a bit of a task... Though I've managed some success, using the pinky is very difficult... at one point, my brian hurt enough to make me feel nauseated. |

| Neither classical nor flamenco players use their pinkies, so why are you?
I hope your brian feels better soon. I've got a cousin called brian. |

Like changing the course of a river.
Heck, just that small bit advice from Matt about the correct angle of attack between the fingtips and the strings made me feel like a beginner again. |
