Here is some other info, & speculation: http://thejetmedic.com/carlosguitars.aspx I was just looking for a cheap deepbowl case (got it, too!). I'll post more info, after it arrives. The BFLG rides agin!! WAH-HOO!!!

I have the hope the guitar is worth refurbishing. I just invested in fretting tools, so I could turn the critter into a real player, possibly.

It should have been a giveaway when you look at the peghead, looks a lot like a Jasmine. I'd bet this was made at that factory. ------------------------ FHWHDD

The best definition of rare I've heard recently was a quote from George Gruhn who said "Well, the plague is rare but I wouldn't want it" I'm sure your new guitar is better than the plague. ---------------------------- FHMHDD

Action is about medium. Neck is straight, with good adjustment on the neck relief. Bracing is standard Martin-X pattern. Smooth, enclosed tuners. Trussrod adjustment from the soundhole. Except for the puncture (yes, it's through the top), it is in really good condition. I'd almost venture to say these are the original strings. The HSC is in real good shape, also. And, the C2C4 critter fits in it just fine, thank-you-very-much. I think I got a good bargain. The serial # sticker really looks like one from an Ovation guitar, too. The label does identify it as, "Carlos", "Made in Korea" I will post photos, with some details, over at the ning site, later.
