In times like these he might really need the cash.
He might have entered on a whim and is not really a fan of Kaki or Ovations.
I recall that on the first tour I went on the guy who won the raffled Adamas was not at all an Ovation fan. He just came along to keep his buddy company.
That was weird. |

obviously she never used that guitar so it is not a personal instrument. If I won it I probably would have sold it also.
I had a guy offer me some squire strat with an sutographon bonnie raitt. well I told him to buff it off and I would give me 50 for the guitar and he was really pissed. sorry but I don't collect autographs I sell guitars.
btw anyone want an SG with tony iommi's autograph on it? |

Used to work for a magazine group that published a motorcycle mag. So the guys were at some big rally and there was a guy there who had ridden his Gold Wing in and sold it — but then won the grand prize, which was a brand new 'Wing. They took his pic and ran it in the next issue, whereupon the FBI or somebody calls. Turns out the guy was receiving massive amounts of disability money and was supposedly confined to a wheelchair. Oops. |

Location: Boise, Idaho | Oddball, your story reminded me of a guy who sued a bunch of people because he hurt his back playing raquetball when he ran into the door that someone had opened.
Exhibit A to his deposition was his picture from the front page of a local paper, doing a flip on a kneeboard. He never missed a beat, saying that he was a lot better kneeboarder before the accident. |

Location: Colorado Rocky Mountains | Oddly enough, being confined to a wheelchair doesn't necessarily mean you can't ride a motorcycle, albeit with some modifications. I once met a guy at a rally (Dave Barr) who lost both legs as a mercenary, yet still managed to ride a Harley shovelhead Sportster around the world and write a book about it. Kind of like the armless guy on YouTube who plays a guitar with his toes. Where there's will, there's a way. |
