Well, maybe not quite that bad. Glad you are enjoying it guiguite...it's your guitar, after all.
And db pulls together references from one old and one current thread, into THIS thread, to deliver an extremely rare three-thread, cross-thread razzing...JUST before the buzzer on 2010!

I looked up "Non Multa Sed Multum ." Turns out it means: "Не много – но многое." And, as it turns out, it is foreign.

"Non Multa Sed Multum" - Not many, but much (quality, not quantity).
Non sequitur.

Thank you, Mike(musicmishka), thanks to all too!

In fact, I did it because every time I went to a bar for playing or every time I'm doing singing my pupils in public in my school, I said myself:
"Ah, no, I cannot take my 47, it is not amplified..."
and then, it never went out. Now, it is the first one!!!!!

Sorry, but this has got to be one of the dumbest mods I've ever seen.

Why carve up a beautiful and very rare guitar and fit a crummy preamp in a terrible location. What makes it even harder to understand is why you'd bother when you have so many other really nice ac/el Adamas guitars already.

....at the end of the day, it's your guitar man

I fully agree with Al, K&K Pure Western would be just fine.
Thierry, this is not the right place to show that sort of "Lutheron" 's work ;-))

That's kind of like putting a volkswagen motor in a porsche. It fits and looks good and a nice job on the installation. But it definitely took more cojones than I have to do that (shaddup, Cliff).

K&K would be a good choice of pickup but would be impossible to install without cutting some kind of access port to work through.

I installed a first generation Ovation thinline pickup (the non-compensated version) in mine. These pickups are exactly the same size as the existing saddle in the 47, so there is no routing of the slot needed, and they look identical to the standard saddle. The only permanent modification was a hole for the output wire in the base of the saddle slot, which cannot be seen. Then, to be absolutely non-invasive I borrowed a trick from owners of vintage Nationals, who often
install output jacks in the treble side f-holes. So I installed
the output jack into one of the smaller holes in the treble-side
eppaulette - no drilling required so completely reversible. I then decided I already had enough guitars to gig with, so I pulled the whole lot out. It was an interesting excersise, but ultimately not worth the effort.

Paul, your idea is fine too.
Here is the link for the K&K Pure Western for those who didn't know this type of pickup.
It is also fully reversible, very light, doing no damage to the guitar, a preamp is not mandatory and the sound is great.
A friend of mine has one installed in a Lowden F32C, i was impressed when playing it and very interested by the system itself.

I installed a K&K PW Mini in my Collings, along with the vintage endpin jack (1/8" female in a standard endpin - no drilling out the end block for a large 1/4' endpin jack). I know Beal has installed several in various of his guitars. I got mine from Al at a better price than you'll find anywhere else on the 'Net. Agreed, the tone is very much acoustic without piezo quack you get from most undersaddle pups, and the line driver is pretty hot.

Besides the passive transducers + line driver, they also offer options from passive volume thumbwheel to multi-input onboard pre-amps. Any future un-electrified acoustic guitar I get, I'll put in one of these if I want to amplify it. I can see where it would be a major PITA, if not impossible, to install one of these in an Adamas without a manhole cover.

I would have got mine from Al, but then I wouldn't have gotten the personal tour through the assembly plant down in Coos Bay.

There is no way you could install a K&K Pure Western in any Adamas that didn't already have an access port without cutting a port to do so. Which kinda defeats the non-invasive approach.
