There are three guitars on the 'bay offered by Sigler Music (I'd buy from Al in a heartbeat), the Adamas I GT, Adamas II, and Adamas WT. What makes these auctions interesting is that there are videos done by Rick Hall and Matt Smith explaining and playing the guitars. Real interesting.

If I were looking for a new guitar, I'd consider these in a heartbeat....

For once I tried an Adamas out before I bought it. At least, I'm assuming the Adamas WT is the same as the custom wood top Adamas they had at the Roadshows. That was the guitar I should have listed in the thread on the one guitar I wish I had. It blew me away. I might have been disappointed if I'd bought what I thought was the only one in the country and found out they were making more, but since I didn't, I'll have to move the Adamas WT to the top of the must have list. An incredible guitar with all the boom of the deep bowl Adamas with the sound of a spruce top instead of the carbon fiber.

I saw these auctions when I was back home after work tonight.
Great guitars and Rick and Matt's videos are nice.
I don't say that I'll not be one of the owners of a WT Adamas in the future... ;)

How did a new wood top Adamas model slip by without my knowledge? Looks nice, but I would want it with the 1 3/4" nut, a brocolli slot head, and more ornately-designed epaulets. (perhaps a cedar top option also)

Keep in mind that Ct is now a custom shop. You can probably get whatever you want. I pretty much like the WT the way it is, but could go for nicer epaulets.

Hopefully, I'll play one next month at the NAMM show and the Ovation roadshow which will be in town on the 18th.

Until then, I'll have to muddle thru with my OFC slothead (ding!) and a few other meager woodtopped Ovations.......

That 12 string proto sounded great when you played Kashmir and Cliff was singin in his best Robert Plant voice at the 2010 edition of Bobbofest!

Nicer epauletes and a brocolli slot head to match the carved bridge. That will be the perfect WT Adamas. A nice looking guitar and the next one for me. Love the sound on the video posted on ebay.

Ok, agreed. We like the Adamas WT. But what if Ovation built the same guitar with an A braced round hole top? Really great wood, maybe Adirondak spruce? With a slightly deeper body than a deep bowl Legend, that would have a killer deep sound.

Just saying.....

While looking at "other items" from Sigler I noticed that they have a C2079AX...

Now, I thought that was a misprint cuz we all know that Custom Legends are sacrosanct and can only be made in New Hartford, Connecticut. I figured that since Sigler sells so much stuff it might be a typo.

No. Cuz if I look real close at the label, there ain't no Factory...
But it might be one one of the Contour "Swoosh" labels... But No.

And USA Ovations don't have bolt caps in the bridge during this century.

(Look real close)

So hang on to your USO's cuz like Al has been saying, the MS is going full Custom Shop.

Here is that Korean Legend listing... It don't say nuthin' about a case, neither...

( I knew it was a bad sign when I saw Contour Bowl Celebrity\'s...)
