ditto what Al said....

plus the diff in cost between average and pro is not all that much when you consider the diff in quality.

Look for used stuff. I just recently acquired Peavey's higher-end setup for a very reasonable price.

Peavey ProComm PCX U1002 Guitar System

NOTE: Anything that operates in the 700 Mhz range is no longer legal to use.
The FCC sold that section of the frequency spectrum to be used for 4G.
So used stuff it's neccessarly a good deal.

I assume since Peavey still sells the u1002 on their website that it's a legal unit.

In my case used stuff was a good deal.

Unless of course the lyrics to some of your songs include "would you like fries with that" or "like whatever, who's she to judge me, like, you know...".

I have a Samson Model AP1 I could send you to see if it works for you. You can send it back or write me an appropriately imppressive check (I'm easily impressed).

I'd be very interested and thankful for a review after you've used it for awhile.
