The Craigslist Adamas I came with a buggered up 9V battery connector on the underside of the rear access door...someone had done a swell (not) job of a wiring repair years ago...now the battery that came in it had corroded the entire end of the terminal...I pondered sending this to the MS for an upgrade to a stereo FET from the original mono...but first I wanted to see how the original played...
I went to Radio Shack and bought a small pk. of 9V snap connectors, got some super glue, cut off the old connectors from the aluminum battery holder and super glued the back of the new snap connector to it...I then soldered the wires, wrapped them in Gorilla tape and put a new premium 9V in...Fit like a charm. I put the cover back in place and plugged it in...success! Original mono FET sounds great and best of all, the guitar is still original...total price for the fix was under $5...
#190-91 is singing once again acoustic and plugged in.
