Well its new to me. I found a 2778LX near mint from a local guy. I have to its a its a pretty cool guitar. He had all the shims out so it was buzzing a bit that was a easy fix. Then i just plugged in and played. I`ve never cared for most LXs but this one may change my mind. Pics to come.

I have one of those. Very nice git-fiddles.

Go for the gold tunas!

(gold tunas were put on after the first pic)

Tuners look nice on yours, i was thinking mine would look better with gold tuners. These are some very good sounding guitars and i do love the natural top.

Back on Topic... This is MY new Ovation (the 1114 on the right)

The one on the left came from Trader Jim (since we were talking about him).

This thing has a sunken top but it sounds good and it was a bargain.

So now I got a beater Folklore to take outside.

Looks like a nice bag o'weed and stash box you got there, OMA. Purely medicinal, I'm sure.

Beal - Dave's not here, man.

Wasn't trying to remain anonymous. Just wanted to stop by and see my old friends. BTW, sent you an email as your PM box is full.

About that sunken top...I used a "Bridge Doctor" on my '79 1115 and it dod the trick very nicely. It's a cheap fix.

...you do need to add a block to the bottom for the post to push against, since Ovations don't naturally come that way.

No matter where you are, there you go.
OMA's Burn Out Bird is so wasted, he forgot to string his guitar!
