Anyway, it is at full tension and the neck did not go "POP!"
But those are EJ15 Extra Light strings... But that is what I always used on it.
Also that contact paper is temporary, until I can find me some good veneer.
(see... without contact paper...)

I really just wanted to see if that epoxy was gonna hold.
Notice that the Ovation still shows.

And this guitar still sounds Awesome! This is just my Karma for trying to sell it!
So now I got me a real Beater.
I might pass-it-on... But I'm pretty sure that I will never be able to sell it again! :rolleyes:

Well done Arthur, it was very distressing to see it in the condition prior to surgery. Just so all 6,000 members of the OFC know, remind us again who the careless courier company who refused to take responsibility for their actions is.

It's just a shame that a guitar of that vintage and original condition has ended up this way.
After surviving all those years, some shipping monkey ruins it.
I guess that it's this kind of attrition that makes things like this all the more rare.
