Location: Steeler Nation, Hudson Valley Contingent | I'm a little bored tonight, so I thought I would post a song or two just for fun. I added two songs to my Soundclick page. And since the last ones I psoted were Contemporary Christian, I thought I would reach to a broader group this time. These are from two live performances by Patchwork, an amateur folk quartet I played with in Savannah, GA. We were never too serious, and it shows in our lack of polish. But our enthusiasm is obvious. I sure miss those folks. So click the link and tell me what you think. Look for the Mingulay Boat Song (led by my Custom Balladeer 12'er in Open G and accompanied by a bouzouki) and Shenendoah (one of my all time favorite traditionals). I'm lead vocals, but I disappear into the mix pretty quickly. I hope you like'em. Good times. Good memories. I think I'll go pour me a glass of Bushmills and reminisce a little.

Those songs were recorded in 2002 and 2003, about a year before I moved to NY. (Dumb, dumb idea!) |
