I'm pretty sure I'll end up with a white one and a black/bowtie eventually, but this one... well... after setting it up, I have to say, I think she might outdo the all Urelite models.

I'm hoping to hear more on it myself, especially about the construction and materials. I assume it still has the aluminum frame. All I know is it's badass! Especially after I have it all setup to "Damon specs".

I'm envious, but it does seem appropriate that one of the world's foremost UKII evangelists got his hands on that one. Congrats again, Damon!

Aside from the busrt like mine, they were solid colors. The grain effect works OK through the body, but is a little funky on the ends or shouild I say sides? It sounds like a UKII should, but with a little extra resonance (especially just strumming it unplugged). Had it sounded much different that a UKII, I doubt I would have had any interest. Initially I had thought my Urelite to have a bit better sustain, but that thought went away after I made a few adjustments to the pickup heights. I actually got a bit more "Stratty" tone with the pickup switches set to the right (looking down). THere were a couple tunes I didn't like using the UKII for because I wanted more of a single coil neck pickup tone. THis one seems to do a better job of that.
