I have used sound hole plugs on my guitars that have the regular sound hole, eliminate feedback, but I never have had that problem with the Ovations that have the multi holes. Does the hole plugs make a lot of difference in the sound. I mean if I plug the top holes do I get a more treble sound and vice versa for the bottom holes. I don't know where to get the plugs. Does it make any changes when the guitar is plugged in to a recording system, or just when amped or PA'ed?

Al has them in stock.
.
I have to use them on my UTE if I play plugged in. The guitar top is so damn alive that unless the set-up and sound guy are Templeman perfect, it will feedback like a screaming banshee.
.
I've never attempted to use them to adjust the un-plugged sound.

I have to use a sound plug on the Legends, which make a big difference in controlling feedback at volume, but never on any of the Adamas models.

But they will help you to tweek the acoustic sound. Want more bass? Plug some or all of the treble holes. Want more brightness? Plug some or all of the bass holes.

One time I had plugged all the holes on one of my Adamas' when I was playing plugged in. The next day I played that guitar for over half an hour before noticing I had forgotten to take them out. It was STILL loud.

When shopping, ask for Ovation AirLocks.

Thank you Cholloway, didn't know what they were called. Has anyone recorded with this in. Weather just a few are all of them, and would it make the sound from the pup different?
