Hi, friends
After have one year ago amplified my 47, here is my last novelty: I repainted my 1687-8 and here is the result! Iy is beautiful, no? Marcel Dadi had an adamas of this color, "the lilas", it is thus " the lilas 2 "....I know someone are going to tell me I'am crazy, but I like it really...
If you want to look on youtube

Well, you didn't ruin it. But it will be hard to
coordinate an outfit that works with the guitar on stage.

Maybe something with ruffled sleeves?

Got that Prince look now to it. Now you need to learn Purple rain. Love the look. :)

There's never anything wrong with a little color. What matters most is that you like it, and it appears that you do, so way to go!

Yes, you're crazy. I wouldn't have the nerve to paint a fine guitar. But yours looks and sounds great.

Did you paint it yourself or have it professionally done? The paint job looks really well done.

If you did it yourself, you need to send OMA the instructions!

Great playing, and great paint job! I'm wondering about the name though. I would think it would be lilac, with a "c", because it is the color of lilac flowers. (Unless it is spelled with an "s" in French?)

Having previously owned both -8's #189 and #190, there is no way to confuse them now...I like originality but not sure if I would ever do it to an early '78...glad you like it though...enjoy
