I've had two of those and one is still my own. Upgrated to an OP-VIP-5 preamp and gold tuners, strung up with a special set of strings, created by my self. She will never leave my collection...

Location: Connersville, Indiana | Damn that guitar sounded so sweet. Love my 12 string. Brother what do you mean by special set of strings created by your self. Do you mean different types, different gauges or do you mean you made the strings. Just asking :) What is your string set up for our 12er, it may give me ideas.

Location: Germany, where delicious wine is growing (Rheinh) | Lol, Kit, no I don't make strings, but I'm always testing to find better sounds and the "right" or "best" string for the git.
Well, the "special" set of strings on my Pacemaker is a set of Thomastik-Infeld "Steel-Strings for Classical guitar", except of the B and high E strings. These plain-steels are Elexirs, the high tuned others also. Finaly the guitar is tuned down half a step to reduce a bit of string tension, because once she had a broken head, so I play her with a capo at the first fret. You can't play her very loud, but plugged in, and mine has a VIP-5 preamp, she is souding very good. Very deep bottem end for a 12er and cristal clear highs.
The tension is so ultra-light that you can play her very long without it hurts your hand.
If you want the exactly strings and gauges, let me know. I'll try to find it out again.
