Jim, we'll miss you for sure. I was hoping for some more (real) Tim Tams.

I'll put out the stuffed kangaroo and mini Aussie flag and open a bottle of Syrah and call it Shiraz in your honor.

Vintage Sunburst is what I call the VXT... but KOA if you must... I'm bringing the Genesis (a pointy beast) so you can see the wiring.

Early report on the festivities, since I had to depart before the debauchery REALLY got going.
There was much deliberation & conjecture on the project guitar, without resolution. A minor repair to some fretboard binding, a diagnosis & proposed treatment, with 2nd opinion, on a top separation on a CC-057 (I think).
All the while, Damon & assorted accompaniment were wailing out (the neighbors departed & left their driveway to us, too!)
Lots of burgers, dogs, and "grease for the wheels of progress". A really wonderful con queso dip with other munchies & fruit.
Weather was one of those perfect Seattle days, clear sky, no wind, 75 degrees.
No injuries, by the time of my departure, anyway. Doors intact, no bathroom fiascoes, one minor BBQ incident with a hot spatula observed.
More than enough guitars, but that was the point!
Damon & Sarah are the consummate hosts, and very courageous to conduct the event. Many thanks!
I might have some decent photos. If so, I'll get them posted.
As for the attendance, I will likely leave someone out, so I will allow The Membership to post their own experiences.
It was great to see many of the Left Coast Contingent, and we may have effected some converts, too.
Missed the raffle, durnit.
Party On, OFC!

I made it back about 6:00 am...
I haven't ridden a Greyhound in a long while...
Now I remember WHY!

Great Get-Together. Thanks Damon & Sarah... Also everybody who came.

I was great to meet people face-to-face.

I do have a few not-so-great photos that I took...
I am on my way to bed, so I won't be captioning them.
But feel free to look and comment Here!

There's an official pic posting post for the jam now.

I had too much fun to actually take pictures but here's my limited efforts:
PNW OFC 2011

Art - glad you made it home! I enjoyed the tour of downtown Tacoma at 1am as we discovered that you, me and my Tom Tom didn't know they moved the Bus and Train stations! Really enjoyed time spent with my buds!

Steve/Numbfingers - you are a shrewd and generous parts trader!

We did come up with a configuration for the two potential guitars to be used as OFC Fundraisers.

A hollow body Viper

A solid body Viper.

OK, that works. I thought those were the "directions of continuity", but wasn't sure.
They should look great!
Downtown Tacoma @ 0100 hours- and lost. Yikes!

A good time had by all !!!!

Thanks again to Damon (from here on out pronounced Da'Man) and Sarah for sharing their home.

Music was made, food was eaten, beverages were consumed, music was made (worth mentioning twice) guitars and parts were sold and traded, and goodies were distributed.

Another successful gathering thanks to everyone who attended.

I'm going to fly by here for a sec just to say thanks to everyone. Sara and I both had a fantastic time having you all out.

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm a bit preoccupied with something today.... (more to come)
