OK...forget my last incoherent post. My question is this...did Ovation make 3 versions of the Viper Solid Body Electric? I've never seen a Viper II.

There was the Viper, then the Viper 3. So-called because it had 3 rather than 2 pickups. So there were essentially 2 versions, but there were variations among those 2. Such as ebony or maple fingerboards, 2 different bridges and a few other minor details. But essentially the was the 2- pickup Viper and the 3-pickup Viper 3

To the best of my knowledge, there's no Viper II. The Viper III indicates 3 pickups and some just started calling the Viper, a Viper II
